I have a 1994 husaberg fe 501 enduro

Does anyone know what manual decompression leaver and cable would fit and were to get it from as they don't make them to fit this bike anymore

Thanks

the parts books say that 170 023 01 was used from 1989 to 1998

the 1999 manual shows no decomp cable at all but it must surely be a mistake?

then you're onto the cable over the Hydraulic clutch from 2000-2003. code for 2000-2003 plus starts with 170 078 01 and ends with the KTM part number 80036065000

the KTM part number 590 02 094 000 is then used from 2004-2008.

I suggest you get 170 078 01 / 80036065000 and see what happens? a perch can be easily bought as an aftermarket item.

none of my 98's did either: 600E, 400 and 400E.
must have been a supplier problem.

Its a 1994 501 it has a auto decompression built in but also space were a manual cable would go

When i kick the bike the auto decompression only kicks in for a few cranks and goes solid i have been told if i fit the manual decomp then it should over ride the auto decomp

But my problem is i cant find the right cable and leaver to fit

Any help?

I know this is a very old thread but I just called Terry Cable and they make all the cables still.
