Husaberg FE450R RALLYE in the libya rally next week

Preparing for the Libya rally next week, due to political reasons (they still shoot your *** off) its being held a few hundred miles to the west, in Tunesia.

Well the bike is ready, and I have the flue, so i thought it would be better to show a picture of the bike instead of me.. I carry a GPS tracker, so if you like you can follow the husa starting 18 march trough my facebook page or website. http://www.facebook.com/jwnaardakar

was it necassary to have the clocks that high or do you think you could have coped just as well if they had been lower and you could have seen more of the ground around the front wheel?

any chance of a riders eye view of the cockpit?

also where did you get the fairing?

I'm doing the Breslau in 6-weeks

Sorry for my late reply, i missed these comments. The rally jacket is the standard husaberg jacket, model 2009. You can find some specific pics from the riders pov on my facebookpage in the foto section, www.facebook.com/jwnaardakar

Futhrtmore i can proudly announce my admittance to the 2013 dakar rally, i will be using the same setup whit only the extra rear safaritanks as an extra addition to the bike. Yeah!
 
I wish my clocks had been another 15cm forward for when standing. also flat - again for standing.

it seems to me the sitters get a double benefit of seeing the road map and the road behind the clocks all in one view.

they also ride slower and things 'arrive' a little slower so you can think straight!

two benefits of being a slow-sitter :lol: :lol:

have you dealt with Arno at RallyXL?

I know Arno, but did most my work with rallybike center ( RBC) in Lochem. My cockpit was designed to work both standing and sitting, i'll need both in South America in Januar :)
