grinded head around the valves to add more flow trough them, original was space between valve and head to small and ther was a ded point for flow. This yob increase flow alot ;)

A litle more from rebuilding

So i make a oiling line to the top of the head to squish oil into rocker rollers and a camshaft. I use a keihin 0.62 mm jet to maximize the squish. To the relief spring i put 2mm shim to increase a litle oil pressure.

Some pictures

nice work!

you probably know this already ..... the ktm rfs engines use a 1mm jet for that job

a 3mm preload increase on the oil pressure spring in my 08 engine gave me about 25 psi .. .

at the time i had an oil line going to the exhaust rocker pin centre, similar flow to yours

thanks for info 25 psi would be enought pressure to normaly oiling a crankshaft and piston + head. I will try with small jet while the idea is not to flush oil in head yust spray a small amount of oil. I will go maximal 30 psi over 30 psi the oil create more kinnetic energy on itself while its compressed trought jet and more heat create by itself. Alsow more oil stays int head and bottom more heat will create by itself. For this application i will use MOTUL 300V 15w60 a more thick oil will be more stable by engine heat and hold the pressure more constant. this theory is based on our projects on 600 hp+ racing car engine by increasing the oil pressure engine goes hoter and alsow the oil we must put larger oil cooler on that car. Sorry for my bad English

So i post back results after complete season, The engine has 95 hours after complete rebuild. I have alsow installed taffmeisters dual springs. The valve clearance is as the engine was put together. The bike is the strongest beast i have ever ride. I sell the bike to my friend he has sell it to his friend after 40 hours. No one can ride hard enduro with that bike as the bike is so strong even with 14 / 45 sprockets. The head modification and high compression piston make a monster of bike it where perfect for some supermoto riding but not for woods :)

:O haaahaha I can only imagine what a built 550 drives like. Damn.

How did it sound? Pretty brutal right?
