Taffy ide bring the hole bike to you but I liv in coventry and its too far

stop being a bloody tart!!!!

I do Coventry for breakfast. yanks go 10-hours to find a ride, mind you they need to get a reliable truck first!   LOL!!!

I went to Glossop on Sunday to buy a bike.... 180 miles EW.

when you take that bike on you must decide before hand whether you constrain the money spent to the value of the bike (so 10 quid then) or you get it right because you want too!

your call.

Taff I do not min spending mony on it the bike ows me 100 kwid and 500 for the engine when I've sold the parts from the old engine that wiill get spent onit to pluss I do not drive ether

finaly got the old girl going warmed iy up road it for 5 mins now wont start think timing was slightly out and bent the valves pissing fing :cuss:

i doubt that. I don't think it would run with the cam two teeth out and one tooth isn't enough to bend the valves....

could be wrong though...

Taffy

mine started fine but had no top end when i bought it and was one tooth of from previous rebuild, never bent a valve even at wot, not sure which way it was off..and never tried it two teeth off :)

Did i miss something? What makes you think it could be out of time or bent the valves anyway? just wont restart hot? or at all now but did before?

Just won't start at all I've taken the head off and the liittle seal on the valves moov up and down is this normle and I ternd the head upside down and pushed the exhaust valve in it span like a drill bit that's what makes me think its bent plus when it was runing it was taping its **** off

thats the valve seal, it should click down onto the head and stay there, when i rebuilt mine i had on that was up but showed no side affects (like leaking oil into the cylinder past the valve guide) it it was bent andyou pushed it into the head you would be able to see light onthe other side, i dont think it matter if it spins like a drill bit when you pushed it in?

Plus there is a slite indent mark in the sut on the valve and a line on the intake valve only 1 thow :?

Say no to drugs :bounce3:
