Hey guys!

I'd like to ask where can I find this coolant air bleeding screw? I dont find a proper manual for fe470 2004, heard that it must be close to the spart plug but i dont see any screw there. Could somebody please mark it on the pictures I sent below from both engine sides?

Thank you in advance! :)

There is a coolant bleed screw (Grub Screw) on the head of the 01-03 models that is between the exhaust outlets on the head. Be very careful trying to remove it as it is probably quite stuck. Use a good penetrating oil and go slowly or better yet just leave it alone and lean your bike far over to the left with the radiator cap off to help burp the cooling system.

On the 04-08 models the bleed screw (Hex Head Screw) was moved to the side of the cylinder head near the spark plug and is much easier to access and actually use without fear of causing damage to the head.

Your bike is a 2001 or 2002 model. Some indications are: the 470 was only made in 01 and 02, you have the kickstart operated decompression release (eliminated in 04), 2 hose clamps on the water pump hose (there wasn't a lip on the 01-03 water pump cover to help keep the hose on, ignition cover is for a SEM ignition, someone has installed a FCR carb but not the type that came on a stock 04. The 01-02 models were very similar but in late 02 there were some internal gear profile changes. If you ever have to dig deep into the motor (including the clutch basket) you will you will need to identify when the motor was built.

On 01-03 you fill up with water, closes cap and then lay the bike on the right side and you can probably hear air bubble up in the the pipe on the left side off the cylinderhead. When it stopped bubble you stand the bike up and recheck the level. Done.

as Husabutt syas, you really have a 2001-2002 engines 470. generally, they will bleed themselves over a ride, so if the grub screw doesn't come undone, don't cry, it will sort itself out.

remember to only put enough coolant into the radiator to cover the 'core' inside and not to fill it too the brim!
