For the 99 you don't have 4 wire CDI, it's the black box that you need.

You have 5 or 6, depending if it's an e-start bike or not. If it's not and you find a 6 wire CDI there is no problem, just don't use the withe wire.

Also you can use one CDI from 99 to 03

Can you show me what I can put in place of this coil. If you can link to it or a photo of her picture. I would be very grateful. I really want to restore this bike it is very good!!!
 
probably a 98 with blue frame. you need red coil like your last picture.
measure the resistance of the stator on the engine

You can't mix the ignitions systems, yours is not a 99 bike, you have a 89-98 ignition.

To replace your coil you have here one aftermarket option:
HPI | Horse Power Ignition

It can't be worse that the original :eek:
