In the links section here Omero Moto (of Italy I believe) makes some aluminum pieces.
Aluminum tanks appear from time to time but all the ones I have seen were made outside the U.S. or custom built.
The 06 FC's have been purported to have a slimmer tank in the works. You may want to wait and see. Good chance they will bolt right up or should be adaptable.

do have a look at the owners doc for info. i think it will help you quite a bit. it's a hyperlink at the base of this post fella.
you'll see that it offers two sources for alloy tanks. and BTW those sidepanels are supposedly from a suzuki.
