I picked up a 2010 FE450 and I don't think it has been mapped. put a resistor on the plug and can't tell a difference. I called the local KTM dealer, and they were like Husa-what?

Any luck out there? anyone with a programmer?

Thanks

The ktm ust works on the husaberg, so you can use those. The other route is to get a map switch and a jdjetting efi tuner. I ended up finding an ecm that was off of an fx and another one that was off an 09 fe450 that had a more aggressive tune installed (supposedly, I only spent 25 bucks on it off a guy who was parting it out).

Please post back what you find...(does the bike have to be present or could the ECU be shipped alone?) Just picked up an 09 FE450 that is bone stock and looking into this.

(I looked at the JD Jetting/EJK electronic controller, but like suspension I'd rather someone that knows more give me a good foundation for me to start with and I hear about the "Euro Tune" )

People calling out to Rick Bozard Ooooo!

Call Rick at Bozarth's Offroad Specialties (BOSS) in Portland. He is the last standing Husaberg dealer in the US.
In the fall of 2016 I got a bunch of parts from him and contacting him was no problem. Really nice guy to deal with. Now he has vanished. Office and also cellphone inop. Email not working either. Doses anyone have new phone number or any contact/info how to contact him?

You might call Bob at CycleBuy in Albany, OR as well.
He helped me a lot with my FX450.

I have encountered the same problem lately. Next time I am in Portland I will go by and see if he is still in business. I know he takes long trips to ride desert and snowbikes sometimes so maybe that is why.
