Hi everyone!
i am new in this forum, my name is Manuel Lucchese i am a 23 yr old italian boy that has been racing the past 3 seasons on Husabergs (both 570cc and 450cc) i have been competing in rallies and this year i took the crazy decision to enter the Dakar and thanks to the support of Husaberg i am going to race it aboard of a FE 450cc 2012. Obviously i will have to prepare it, i will use probably the Safari Tanks which i used this year in Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and Rally of Tunisia.
For the Dakar i spent all of the money i earned with little jobs since i was 16, i study at university and so its a big mess! I have 80 euros left in my bank account and still have no idea on how i will find the remaining 5700 euros i have to pay as last part of the entry by november. But my spirit is high and eventhough its goin to be a real mess to find the budget i will in some way be at the start! I opened a blog where i will update with all about whats happening in my life and how i will prepare my first ever (i would like to dream the first of many).
Thanks to the support of Husaberg Australian Rallye Team tomorrow i should fly off to Australia to compete in the Safari Rally. I really have to thank them because without them i would never have had the chance to do an experience like this since i don't have much economic possibilities. I will update as much as i can my blog and hope that many of you will follow me
