FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
News from the Corner Grass/Husaberg/Royal Dist/Parts Canada Race Team

After a successful 2010 racing season was for the Corner Grass Race Team, some big things are happening for the group to ensure that 2011 only gets better.

Ben "The giant killer" Rego has officially signed on to represent one of the most hardcore teams in Canadian off road racing! Many fans were keeping an eye on Ben wondering where he would land for the 2011 season; it was naturally CGRT/Husaberg/Parts Canada that acquired the young talent. With consistent finishes last year in his class, and his insane, no holds barred riding style that contradicts his casual demeanour and friendly smile off the bike, Ben is looking to continue his momentum and hard work for the upcoming season. Look for Ben to race his FX 450 at Corner Grass at the end of June, Xtinction, the Canadian Enduro Championships, Montreal Endurocross.

Shane Cuthbertson will also be racing, despite rumours that he was retiring. Shane plans to attend most of the major Western events. Like Ben, he is also expecting to race a few key rounds of the Geico Endurocross series. He will be piloting a new FX 450 in the local Second Gear Club off road series. Shane would like to spend a bit more time with his family, especially now that the young Cuthbert-sons have gotten into the racing scene. Shane plays a huge part on the team and is a big asset to the others, bringing worldwide racing experience to the younger members of this team and showing them how to rip!

Here’s what Lee Fryberger, the Manager of CGRT, had to say, “For me, I’m very happy that CGRT has grown to where it is today! With the help of Husaberg Canada and Andy White, we have really been able to step it up for 2011. We are really happy to be able to help , Ben Rego, he is going to add character to the team. And Shane is still with us, mentoring the guys with his wealth of experience and understanding. CGRT is also extending our efforts to nurture the young athletes of the sport, with Jesse Grummet of Ontario joining the Husaberg family and the return of 17 yr old Cole Dobovich.”

Look for the entire CGRT to be at the head of the pack this season!
