I'd like to purchase the style of bolts found on late model Husabergs. The ones with the star drive in the middle of the head of the bolt. Does anyone know of a supplier or retailer where they can be purchased in various sizes?

Thanks.

Try this part number at your KTM or Husaberg dealer. It is a late model KTM bolt kit . Part# 00029999000

I hope you get stainless bolts...

Who wants the ugly rusting Austrian bolts that should never been installed on the bike?
If you want something more exotic bolts pro bolts sell 'em. Alu, Ti or stainless stuff and all sorts of nuts and washers etc. http://www.pro-bolt.com/index.php/

I just bought some allen style stainless bolts from local premium hardware store to replace alot OEM bolts on the bike.

Be careful when changing some bolts. I know its boring but certain bolts need to be high tensile.

Ya dont wanna be putting ali bolts on brake discs for instance. Fork pinch bolts, brake disc and caliper bolts, and sprocket bolts all should really be high tensile.

And if your using stainless bolts going into aluminium, copper slip the threads else naughtyness happens.

Stainless is ok but its also heavy, and they all add up.

I would love to get them bolts with the washer 'moulded' into the hex head but am struggling to find them

I have one of these kits. Its fantastic. The stock KTM/Berg bolts are very high quality, almost aircraft grade but yes they do tend to corrode. I love the Torx/Hex head bolts, a pleasure to work on.

Be careful with swapping out to stainless steel. Some stainless alloys are very soft and do not have the tensile strength of the OEM fasteners. No big deal for non-critcal (non-stressed) bolts, but don't be changing out motor mount bolts, suspension bolts etc.
