I'm sure this is as big a surprise to you all as it was to me, but Husaberg Australia is revoking ORANGEBERG (John Prior) dealers agreement !!!!
I went to order a part for my berg yesterday and John told me he couldn't supply and told me what was happening.
No matter what the contractual agreements are, I can't work out how Husaberg Australia can afford to let John go ! This is the person who spent his own money and time to develop a fix for Berg for the long time annoying water pump oil leak. This fix has become a world wide thing not just in Australia, and there doesn't seem to be due credit from Berg for his efforts ? Not to mention his incredible knowledge and willingness to do anything to help us out. This is a very dedicated person and we need to let Berg Australia know from the consumer's perspective that their decision is not appreciated by us.
Give John some of the support back that he has given us over the years and write an email expressing your concerns. Send the email to John at [email protected] and he will forward it on to KTM-Husaberg Australia. For some reason the national distributors don't want their email address out there so you have to go through a dealer !

Not happy :(

I just spoke to John again and he will post an explanation latter today as to why this has happened.

I have brought parts from John Prior and have been satisfied with his fast efficient service.
I have installed his fix for the water pump seal with great results.
He is my first choice dealer.
It would be sad to lose a dedicated man who is knowledgeable in regards to what he sells.
It will not only be a loss to his customers but also to Husaberg Australia.
I hope they have enough sense to reconsider.

Regards,
Harvey.
