Ok i need a new liner and rings maybe piston,how so,well finally i got flote clued and carb on Place and bike start quite easy so i deside go ride little well that ended very soon big steam cloud en engine seize up,so not day whit out few hundred euros accident.

When i got cylinder head open i saw everythink pretty much ok but that liner collar was snapped of and piston ring was locking piston up on liner.
 
I watched yuo make point,but my opinion is that 62Nm is maybe too much i wish i hadent torq that head again just in case at first time i torqit 44Nm what workshop service manual recommend,it did not come to mind something like that could happen.

I got today parts on post cylinder liner and other parts look like i might put husaberg engine back one piece next few days,maybe i go first farm machinery show whit my empty wallet if anybody might know what cost chaser bin rubber tracks let me know i find some prizes but not any solid information,why i ask because it is wery wet summer and now it rain even more.

Finally bike is ready its starts easy and i went test drive looklike only problem was oil leak on valve cover,look like also that starting problem was that leaking carburator float.
 
Suprise running problems arent over jet sekond time test drive i gime more gas then start misfire before engine maintanence it run ok i tried needle down and another plug,ihave to measure stator ohms and put carburator original size jets back and see what happens.
 
Just another day and money to waste,i cleaned carb tip top condition but running problems and misfiring continue stator was same Place as always and timing was 12 degree i am starting think change that sem ignition unit some other brand i am loosing my confidense swedish electronics.

ok and backfiring broke clutch basket and Freewheel Hub so day well spent thats quite frustrating.
 
Finally i got new parts and bike started easy but then problems stardet so i took out old ignition unit and put new one that i got hpi.so i need 2003 605 husaberg wiring diagram make sure that connection are right.
 
Look like that new ignition unit does it and first time again look like that bike really start working properly.
 
One theeth missing spraque wheel,i gues thoothfairie hit when i was starting first time and took choke of too early and engine kicked back.
 
Hi Jussi,
engines from 2002 on should have a friction slip clutch. I guess you can adjust the force for backspin (e.g. when backfiring, etc.) with spacers!
When I got my bike once at the repair shop, they added the freewheel slip clutch for E-Start. When I fired the bike up, after 10m riding it destroyed clutch basket and the freewheel.
A real Husaberg guy then showed me how to adjust the force with spacers. Mine was set to about 50Nm - sad when the engines slightly turns the other way, or just stops moving ...
Now it's set to 10Nm - works great!

I have to use piperench open slipcluth it was so tight over 70nm i could gues,when i bought that bike freewheel was slipping i gues that numskulls were thinking that slipclutch is slipping.


First time really take time to set ignition timing it was 24 degrees when i bought bike now wonder it was hard to start i turnet stator fully another side and tried to kickstart and wonder happen when bike start few kicks then i measured ignition timing it was just spot on 6 degrees:)
