Thanks mate I'll have a look just seen a good vid on u tube that shows how to adjust with out gauges ;)

If your tappets are truly ticking then a valve adjustment may not make the noise go away. I would definitely make the adjustment and retest. If the noise persists do not ride it.

A very high wear component on these oldies is the cam follower bearings. These were updated in 2003 for a good reason. You don't want ground up needle bearings dispersed throughout your engine. Check your oil screen for shiny chrome bits. Sometimes a loose timing chain can sound like the tappets as it contacts the cylinder. Check your cam chain adjuster and see how worn your timing chain is.

Hi pal I was told head was fully rebuilt but I'll check tappets and test it's not a lowed tapping just a little tick also it has hydrolic adjuster do u advise to fit manual one ?;) once again thanks for all the help I love the bike just want to keep it in on peace

Its not hydraulic its just spring loaded. The original Husaberg adjuster works great. No need to change it.

Good news it's a new chain so I'll have a look tomorrow if I need gasket for clutch cover or tapets covers were is best place to buy them Taff ?

Yes Taff. Hopefully use can just reuse the valve cover gaskets. Put a little grease or oil on the covers to keep them from sticking to the gasket. If its not smoking or using a lot of oil your reed valve should be fine.

Hi guys ajusted the tappets to day and check the timing chain seems nice a tight but not breaking tight ;) after doing this bike sounds really quite but seems to have a bit less compression than before do u think they are too tight it starts no pribs and runs crisp but just me being paraaaa lol
