Hi Guys,

Newly owner of a HUSA 550, I am of course really happy. The sensation of the engine is really unique. Having supermotard wheels the Idea is mainly to have fun on the way to my office.

I heard that it's quite important to follow the maintenance guide. This one of the reason I am here. To get advises and share knowledge concerning the mechanical maintenance.

I am living in south of FRANCE in Cannes.

they are quite reliable if maintained rigourously Alexis.

oil I think every 12 hours...maybe a little longer.

valve clearances regularly if revved very high.

no real weaknesses.

Thanks for your advice, by the way which oil do you recommend. Mine has always been revved with 5w60 phenix. It is really difficult to find here so maybe something different could also fit.

they should have IMHO a '10' oil so 10/60 would be my choice.

10w-60 liqui-moly is the factory bmw M oil and is readily available
