Husaberg 2007 FE450E front wheel hub woes

Hi all,
The front wheel bearing housings are worn on my recently purchased FE450 the old bearings literally fell out when the wheel was removed !

New bearings have been fitted but there is still excessive play in the hubs...

Im considering buying a new excel talon rim and hub
or a second hand one but this might be in similar condition
I have been told that KTM forks from a later model that are much better suspension will fit this bike , if so is it worth getting the whole front end wheel included ?

Im considering these options can anyone suggest a temporary fix ? to hold bearings in place until i decide on best coarse of action ?

I believe the ktm forks are better. The ktm wheels cross over too. But, for the price of a new wheel, I'm sure you could find a complete used front end. Now you just have to figure out the best one.

Take to machinist have him/her turn it to the next size bigger bearing (if it has enough metal left) or have them turn it so they can put in a sleeve to fix the OEM bearing. You have to undo the hub from the rim to get it done at most machine shops.
