Hi all.
My -09 FE570 Berg has approx 80 hours run and is normally working perfect.
I have a problem that give me a lot of problems:
During some winter-races (I live in berg land - Sweden) my FE570 just stops during race and wont start again.
Fuelpump working and starter moving but it wont start...
It has now happened 4 times and always after 30-40min riding (=long way home).
The last time it happened I i checked fusebox, fuel-hose, de-iced the motor but it did'nt start.
Tried to start it every 10 minutes for 1hour when the battery was drained.
After 4 hours I got back and it started on the first try.
Home in my garage I checked all contacts, checked the famous cable issue (typical damaged insulation on cable in front of rear suspension), checked battery connection - but no problems visible (I re-routed the cables while working).
I changed sparkplug and the spark-plug cap which had some cracks in the rubber sealing.
After this I ran the motor several times until boiling point in garage and everything seems to be OK.
During motor running (hot motor) I put in a new airfilter, but as soon as I put in the airfilter the motor stops !?
Tried it several times but always the same problem ! (I didn't pull out the cable for fuelpump).
I let the motor cool down and installed the airfilter and tried again but the problem is gone.
Can this be the same problem that has forced me to walk the racetracks instead of riding it ???
I am a bit worried to ride again and need some expertice to help explaining what is happening...
Regards Jonas.
