Hey boys .
Please please is there someone out there that can help before I put a match to my bike and get a ktm. I have gone through a 4 month saga of trying to sort out the cutting out when hot on my 450. I just cuts out and won't start till it cools down . Iv put new fuel pump post 2013 , new injector , new roll over sensor , new water pump , new ambient air temp sensor, new fuel pump regulator , new in tank inline filter ,and fitted a rad fan . This trial and error hit and miss story is getting expensive with nothing to show for it . Being in a Zim doesn't help as I can't just send it to the nearest Husa agent . I really don't know what else it could be other than possessed . Please anyone out there in the know please advise .

You've probably tried this one, but my FE570 2012 used to cut out when it got hot and wet. It was a faulty spark cap made by KTM, a common issue apparently.

I had that issue myself. If I turned out the lights in my garage it was easy to see sparks jumping from the cap to the head. A new spark cap helped.
 
engine cutting out solution?

Dear Greg,

any news on this problem? Did the Spark Plug Connect replacement happen? Did it solve the problem?

Asking because same issue on a 2010 FE450.

Is your fuel cap vent work i.e. Letting air in? Someone else just had this problem
 
Husa 450 cutting out

Hey boys .
The saga continues replaced the spark plug lead and cap no joy , but was well worth a try . Fuel breather defneatly worth trying . I'm willing to try any thing at this stage . Anyone out there got a contact for an exorcist .:mad::mad::mad:
Please keep the suggestions coming .
