How to remove LAMBDA SENSOR???

I Have my new 2011 berg 390 EU from Austria and I am swapping the OEM header for a FMF megabomb.. This new megabomb does not have the option for putting the lambda sensor, I installed my new header and turned the bike on and now the FI is giving me an error code with 4 long flashes and 5 short ones (this refers to lambda sensor) Any advice of what should I do ??

Do you still have the stock "green" map in the bike?

I have an 09 570 with the competition map in it, and removed the lambda sensor long ago with no apparent side effects. I was told that with the 09 bikes that were delivered to the US, which were not EPA compliant, had the competition map in them and therefore did not use the lambda sensor. This sensor was for the Euro II emissions.

Your FI flash code is for a short circuit of the output wiring of the lambda sensor, the lambda sensor wiring is open ( this is your case I would assume), or the heating circuit of the lambda sensor has a short circuit.
