This is Schwim Dandy and you're listening to WUHE. Here's a blast from the past for all you plastics abusers. From 2007, here's "making her shine".

Stay cool husafanatics.

Go get yourself a can of Maxima SC1, it's a silicone detailer. Works awesome!!

Thanks Schwimmy,

I still use Mop and Glo floor cleaner/wax, as mentioned first by Tuts in your attached link.

Just be careful not to shake the bottle before applying as this makes lot's of tiny bubbles. Use a smooth cotton cloth, soak and wipe on in a non circular motion. Let dry and re apply as necessary.

I wipe this stuff all over my bike's plastics and it makes it look great. It helps keep mud and dirt from sticking, and then when I wash my bike with Motul bike wash, it strips the Mop & Glo along with all the dirt. Then re apply, M & G, and your sheeyat looks great!

Here is a good site that I order detailing stuff from. They are constantly coming out with new products.

If you want the ultimate wax shine try using 2 coats of the Wolfgang 3.0 paint sealant and then top it with one or two coats of PS21S carnuba wax.

If you need to do a little polishing to remove ground in dirt try 3M Perfect-It rubbing compound by hand first. You will never get the same degree of gloss as new by polishing that is why you will need to use some sort of wax or equivalent. Dales idea of Mop and Glow (or try Future floor wax) works good and is inexpensive. It does not remove the ground in dirt that a rubbing compound will though but does provide the gloss.

I tryed some of that Plastx and it dulled the shine. We need something when wiped off leave a shine not a dust collector. :?
