How to lock engine 650 motor 08

I am busy dissasembling engine and used a 2005 workshop manual I found on this site now the first page I am already in problems...
On the photo in pdf theer is a locking bolt that is not on the 08 engine look at the pics.
Can someone show/tell me where it is on the 08?

fwiw I remember a discussion about this somewhere else on this site, there's another way to do it when there's no stopper
 
haha, this if funny. is it really such a big problem since you have the left cover removed? engines block themselves, forum is full of mysterious self-blocking machines and when you want to block them deliberately, you dont know how. people, you have got brains, use it!

I have suceeded to lock the engine you had to remove pickup sensor and remove allen screw/insert longer bolt but now the next step removing the flywheel....
Will need a special tool are there any more tools I will need and where to get them...

I just looked at all the part numbers for special tools from ktm/berg they say you need for rebuild and in total it was over 450€ this seem a little expensive? what is solution.
I will order camchain and flywheeel puller from taffy first ;)
 
I have this old knackered bolt that's about M12 and I i think only 15mm long. i put this between the primary gear teeth and the boss with the left-cover dowel in it. perfect!
