Got my sag setup on the shock, started working with the fork. Set it to "sport" settings to start and I'm getting some understeer when powering out of corners where I used to rail. I'm a suspension noob. My gut tells me the understeer is caused by the rear end not squatting as much as it used to under acceleration with the stock preload, is that right? Or did I introduce that by messing with the fork?
I'm on a 2010 FE450. I weigh 200lbs + gear. Don't race yet, but will be in the C class.
The trails I was riding were pretty fast and flowing, some tight flat corners, some berms a few ruts.
Unfortunately I won't be able to get back to this same spot under next week. But I'm sure someone can save me some trial and error, thanks!
