hi.
im putting my husaberg together, got the new parts today. I had a problem that 2 of the shift drum pins were loose and they broke position star. Now i dont trust that pins would stay in its place only by pressing them in and position star on.
Does the position star really lock them in or how do they suppose to be? i think im going to add a large washer top of the position star to block the pins in. correct me if u know better way. Thanks.

there is supposed to be a large washer there

I don't know if it was in the 02s but you could check the parts diagrams for a new bike ?

meant to have a washer. suggest that if you have a loose pin you extract it, put it in the vice and crush it a little before tapping it back in. make the wide part take the loading so put them in so that they do. I don't suppose a little glue would do any harm.

thanks for help. It seems that there is wrong washer installed by ex owner. I fixed it by hitting position stars holes with awl so the hole went ´bad´ from outer side. So now they cant get out of the holes anymore. Clutch case is still opened so maybe i add some glue tomorrow when im going to put it together.

Also another question. I have -03 and -05 tensioner blades and im not sure which one im going to install. The -05 one needs to be modified because at the moment its too close to camwheel, so i grinded some plastic out of it. Its still too close causing jerking movement to camchain and camwheel. Is the -05 one better choice that -03?
