My 450 engine is toast and to expensive to repair so I got a 550 from an -03 instead and I'm currently in the process of trying to figure out the wiring.
With the engine I bought came SEM-stator, ignite module and an old wiring harness for the lights. Seems I'm missing the regulator.
Can I use my -06 regulator instead of getting and old one. The difference as far as I can tell is the old one have one more wire, don't know how much that affects the situation.
I want to combine both harnesses so I don't have to change out my connections for the lights (I will if nessecary).
Any help is appreciated. I'm sure someone might have done the same swap.
