How can I tell what forks I have?

Hi, So I was hoping someone can help.
I was going to get my suspension looked at and setup correct for my 390fe.
Now when I bought the bike the owner said it had WP forks (and a sticker was there to "prove it')
Now I'm led to believe the WP forks came out on the '11 models?
and I believe this is 2010 model?

Is there an easy tell tale sign of what forks are on it? difference between the 2 forks?
I can upload a pic if need be.

Thanks in advance

All Husabergs of that era have WP suspension stock, and have for several generations back. If you have the stock forks on a 2010 FE then it will have WP open chamber forks--very easy to set up and easy to tune for great performance.

Exactly, Johnf3. The 2011+ forks are also WP, but a closed-chamber design :) They were said to be technically superior in a way but the open-chamber ones easier to work with. And that's the more important thing. So I'd say you're in good shape!
