going riding on some slow technical single track this weekend. temps are supposed to be close to 100f . im using redline coolant which is great stuff. i have been using motorex 10w40 semi synthetic. motorex makes a 15w/50 full synthetic i was considering picking up some. is the 15/50 safe to use? anybody used it before? any good reccomendations for oils in these type of outside temps ?
thanks,
rich

p.s. spokane area guys: i saw someone on a berg in the turn lane on the corner of division and hawthorne last saturday. i had my bike on a trailer behind my vanagon syncro. who was that? anybody thats on the uhe?

Hi rich43

I have only used motul 15/50 semi synthetic with o problems.

The key is to keep moving a!

We will stray from making this another oil thread A! However manufactures switch
recomended oil to be used as often as they see fit! This is just the way the game is
played.Clean oil is good oil.

I too pollo am a dealer,I also try not to go again'st the grain. Way before motorex
was on the table as a sponsored oil of ktm/husaberg spectro was the oil they indorsed.
Spectro was the oil in my two strokes & four strokes from 1978 to 1998.I was introduced
to the motul product from a good friend & team mate for 6 years darell folkes.Him & I
had logged thousands of miles winning the over thirty pro class in the best in the desert
6 straight years. They did not or have not ever given myself free product, the only reason
I took it upon myself to switch oils was that motul 2-t premix turned the fuel red then
my wife could tell witch jug to pour from!I just had to explain this not to change your or
anyones mind but to clairify why i will continue to use there oil! Thank's for your time.
