hot day and hot fe450

hottest day i have ridden yet, maybe 90F, and hottest i have seen my 2010 fe450 get has gotten me a little concerned. after about 8 miles technical woods/open sidehill trail, I stopped to consider a branch not yet ridden. I noticed bike was making boiling sounds in the radiator. I let it rest a little, and then rode last 1/2mile to hook up with forest road. After a mile on forest road. I stopped, shutoff engine, and no boiling sounds. 3 miles later, same, no overheating sounds. So, I grabbed a technical uphill, about 1/2 mile 1st and 2nd gear... At top, shutoff the engine, and had that boiling sounds again. Confirmed fan was indeed running as I rode away. And then made for a downhill stretch back to the road and home. Once on road, no boiling sounds anymore.

Inspection later at home showed clean radiator fins, and full coolant.

I do have a cooling fan. Am using the KTM radiator braces with stock plastic deflectors.

I have read that there is a cooler (85C) thermostat fan switch available. Anyone have p/n?
Any other radiator deflectors that maybe have better airflow? (and do better keeping sticks out)
Maybe drill some holes in plastic deflectors?

Or, any other cooling system problems or engine problems I should be looking into?

Many thanks,

That wasn't your radiator boiling, that was your fuel you heard boiling. The radiator will not boil as it is a closed, pressurized system.

I agree that was your fuel boiling. I was out at Stoddard Valley in SoCal this past Sunday. We were in a tight canyon with lots of rocks, 1st and 2nd gear stuff, it was at least 100 :( and when we decided to stop and take a break I heard the same thing but I didn't have any problems my 570 fired right up all day and ran great.
