F....... Try looking at the bright side karma might get him. This will never happen. Now you have a chance to learn now to rebuild that motor and know how it works. I bought a bike thinking was going to an easy fix and the *** wipe new it wasn't. Your not the only trusting person not their. Now I'm learning also.
Oh my problem is the cost of rebuild I don't think the bottom end is even good and I'd have to bore it and I don't really wanna mess with all that. I can do the work just keeps me off my bike all summer
Are there any other models that the motor will come out of and bolt in? I've heard alot of the parts are ktm is that true for the motor?
01-08, any motor will bolt in. 04-08 would probably be better for you as your wiring/ignition would be the same.
I finally got to tear into it the timing chain came undone and bunched up in the gears once I got it out the motor was completely free. Bought all the parts I need today now just looking for a diagram on how the timing chain is ran and the clearances
