Wonder whom that un-named builder could be. :?
Mats knows all the angles.

Hi Dale,

Good to see you're involved in a new and hopefully rather exciting development now!

As you know I've been watching the Highland story unfold with interest, and I think the dirttracker looks like a magnificent machine. All I have to say is that they really, really need a bloody great kick up the proverbial in the Highland design department! The v-twin, particularly in motard trim simply looks like a relic from the 1980s with slab sided plastics - it's horrible!!! Where were these guys when they thought up this design eah?

Please, oh, please, have a word in their ear about this as I bet if they sorted the esthetics they'd actually be able to sell one or two bikes

Oh, and please don't let them give the design part to the chinese, they haven't got a terribly good history in designing good looking bikes either!

As for some rather yummy motard design, have a look here for how it's done properly - Hypermotard

Compared to this - Highland motard

No contest really :?

Anyway, that's just my little threpnies worth

Cheers, and keep well,
Simon

Hi Simon,
As originally with Husaberg my interest in Highland is that of engine only. I have a beautiful C&J chassis in the wings.

I have been in love with the V2 since before Husaberg.
I first had a peak @ the Folan V2 some fifteen plus years ago and have been chasing the pot of gold ever since.

Hope you are doing well Simon.
It is always a pleasure to hear from you.

Sincerely,
Dale

Hi LINEAWEAVER!

I visited Folan Engineering a couple of months ago. They showed this nice prototype of fuel injected, extremely light weight single as well. Folan is a small company but with great ideas. Let us hope their technology will help Husaberg once again.
My web skill did not let me insert the picture from my gallery, but here is the link
