Just replaced the rear sprocket and bolts on my 05. The sprocket bolts were Moose. I was not too impressed with their quality. On some of the bolts the allen wrench would not fit quite square causing the wrench to slip when torquing them down. The nuts were just O.K.
On such a critical area you would think that only the highest quality hardware would be found.
Has anyone used or know of high quality bolts for the rear sprocket?
For $10.00 the Moose hardware seems overpriced for what you get.
Why isn't a simple hex bolt used (as on the early models and easy to find a high quality one) as the allen head bolt does not seem to be a great idea when higher torque values are required?
