Help wiring up a horn

Hello
I have a small problem
I ordered the euro wiring harness and all accessories to put lights on my US version 2006 FE550
Everything is working great except the horn.
I cannot find the 2 blade type connections on the wiring harness for the horn, or where it is supposed to mount. Can someone that has a horn tell me where it mounts.
The electrical diagram shows what color wires go to the horn(y/r and red) but they are not on the harness.
any help would be greatly appreciated
Tom

Did you get all of the wiring or some part of the harnesses? Check the owner's manual. (You can download the EU manual from the official Husaberg site http://www.husaberg.com/fileadmin/user_ ... _OM_05.pdf.) Do you have the multi-purpose switch (shutoff, low/high beam, turn signals, horn)?
If you do, follow the manual's color codes. The horn is placed in front of the right hand side radiator guard (upper outer end bolt).
If you don't have the multiswitch, you need a switch e.g. similar to kill switch, wire it according to the wiring diagram. You can make your own y/r wire by coupling it to the existing one.

On my 03 I was able to get power off the switch from a wire that matched the wiring diagram color for the horn power, but I had to put an end on the wire. Power goes to the horn, and then the switch for the horn supplies ground for the horn through a ground wire shared by the speedo. Lay on the horn and it back fed power through the speedo causing it to blink out. Ground wire was too small or my horn was too big for the small ground wire is my guess. Meant to splice into the harness ahead of the speedo and add more ground capabilities, but just unplugged the horn for now because reprogramming the speedo took some digging on this site and was a pain, so it wasn't something I wanted to chance having to do again.

thanks for the replies.
I have the multi switch for the horn, high beam low beam, and blinkers.
The wiring harness is complete acording to the parts microfiche.
I will splice into the wires coming from the switch for the horn.
Knowing where the horn is supposed to mount helps.

Tom,

when I took delivery of my Berg the wires were tucked up along the backbone of the frame, about where the cables run down the right hand side of the headstem, it took me about an hour and a half and a phone call to my dealer before I managed to find them and extract them, it should be 2 blade connectors you will only see a bit of the coloured wires as they are in a protective sheath.

i mounted mine on the bottom radiator louvre post, but i removed the thin metal 'strap' that is normally fixed to the back of the horn body and put the angled bracket straight on, so it reduced the abount of leverage on the louvre post and in turn on the mount on the frame.
