I have a 2002 FX470E. My bike was stuck in first gear. I found the problem to be the sliding linkage by the shifter. Got it all fixed. But, my downloaded manual failed to mention that the clutch was part of the timing gear assembly. When I removed it, everything moved, and now the timing is off. I did not know that I had to mark all of the gear locations. How do I time this bike now?
