Hi Guy, Help needed.
I have just put some 17in wheels into my Berg, down from 21in and i have heard there is a way to reset the speedo for these new size wheels.
The beast threw me off the beginning of the year, And i wont be able to ride Enduro for another 4 months, So this is the only way to get back on two wheels.
But i don't want to get pulled by PC Plod for speeding. ( as if i would ever speed ).
So any help would be grateful.
mark.

There should be section in your manual that tells you how to set the wheel size, as well as the rest of the functions.

All my manual tells me is that,
ws (wheel size ) 2205
is briefly displayed in millimeters to correspond with wheel size.
But it does not tell me how to change the settings of the wheel size.
it only tells me how to change other functions, IE, trip, time , etc.
maybe they don't like people playing about with it.

Sorry to hijack the thread folks but how do you change the wheel size set up when you have no buttons on the speedo, on my 03 it's just a plain speedo with no obvious means of changing anything?

Cheers Freaky

Thanks BundyBear
I'm now on my way to change the size setting, Safe riding down under :)

Freaky, You have to have the electronic type enduro speedo, if that makes any sense.
your only up the road from here, you ever get to Abbergavenny ?.

try this:

Unplug the 3 wire plug with red & black & brown wires coming from the speedo.

With the display showing engine hours, press and hold the "mode" button untill you switch toa different menu.

Cycle through the options with the button till "WS" flashes. change the wheelsize with the + and - buttons to the circumference of your 17" front wheel (I set it at 1882) then press "mode" again, then hold the "mode" button till it returns to normal display.

Thanks Guy's
Think i have done it, Just got to pick up the nerve and get back on the bike to try it.
Surprising having not been able to ride for 3 months how you loose it.
Thanks again.
