Help! I've fallen and can't start up......

I've been searching the forum, but I'm not able to figure out what's going on with the bike, therefore not sure what to look for.

09 450.

Bike running great, as normal, all week. I crashed in rocks yesterday (multiple times). Not major, but had to drag the bike around to get it up. I can't find any damage to the bike, but......

It now starts, runs for a few seconds, revs OK, then sounds like it loads up and dies. It restarts fine, then runs for a few secs and dies. I can't keep it going with the throttle. Dies no matter what I do. But always restarts same as normal.

I changed the fuel filter, but same results. Not sure what sequence to go through for this issue. (No, my handle doesn't refer to motorcycles.)

I know there's many discussions on this, but I've not been able to piece the right info together.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Does it have a roll over sensor. On mine it's located under the battery and shuts the bike off in the case of a tip over like you describe?

Mine did the same awhile back, it was a dirty fuel injector, replaced it and it runs great again. You may have knocked some minor speck of dirt loose in the fuel system in the fall.

I'll pull the fuel injector. Is there any way to test it? I've seen some info on cleaning them, but have never tried that.

Thanks.

I tried to ask around in my area about testing or cleaning it, to no avail. Just replaced it and installed an inline metal fuel filter in place of the quick connect under the tank. Now I vow to only disconnect this for tank removal from the inlet side of the filter.
