Hi guys i rebuilt my bike about 15 hours ago and i decided to check crank axial play.
i used to have ball bearing but now using ntn rollers.
I cant seem to get any! not even the slightest bit of play??
the engine isnt tight and runs like a dream but i cant get play. im looking for circa .55mm but with my dial indicator i cant even see .10mm
when i was fitting the roller bearings the inner race on the ignition side did seem tighter than the drive side. could this be causing axial play problems?
im not running any shims on the crank either.
mains bearings pressed solid into either casings when i rebuilt it.
any help would be apreciated
