Okay, Been sitting on a 99FC400 with a bad stator. (sitting because that is all I can do with it unless I want to coast down a hill). Anyone got one for sale. I'm pretty sure any 99 to 03 model stator would work, not counting electric start models. ANYONE got one for sale.

you should have only three wires coming out of it right? red, green and black?
so you need another FC stator ideally. I have a reconditioned one sat here waiting for you. even if you find an old one still working - it'll just fail on you the week after.
had someone call me yesterday - he'd got a plague on all his houses. he'd bought an electrex stator and it had knocked his coil out before even starting it!
