Hi
I have a helmet camera and it has 92min of film time on the mem card but thats just one day the only way for me to transfer the movie is onto a VHS tape each day but that
lowers the quality for any reproduction the slick solution if some one had a laptop to
down load into then burn a DVD and then do the editing this is all new to me so I am
little dumb
the camera / dvr is using AVI codec any suggestions
I'll have the laptop and an assortment of mem card adapters. If you have any specialty cables for the camera, make sure to bring them. I'll be bringing some spare mem cards as well, but I don't know what format you're using. I can burn it to DVD for you to take with you as well.
We'll have everyone willing to share their mem cards hand them over at the end of the ride, and any images/vids I get, I will burn to a dvd for anyone who would like one (until I run out of dvd's).
schwim
the mem card is a kingston sd2.0GB 1 x 1 1/4 if that makes sense the other problem
would be battery life I know that they sell a 4 GB card that good for 196min if that equals
battery life that has yet to be determined
do you have video editing program I know there is lots of dead time on a recording
I will bring the computer cable but it easier to plug the card into the card reader
I presume that you are familiar with AVI codec video code
on my part there is always a element of frustration when things don't work on a computer
but I am sure that i am with good hands when comes computer related stuff
yes i am bringing the helmet cam.i dont know how to use it tho, probably requires reading the directions.hopefully it does not film me wadding it up in spectacular fashion.dan

Dan,
Have Ann read the directions for the helmet cam. Better halves are much more adept at this task. If you do get some of the above mentioned footage I would like a copy of it to post on the dont support motoexotica thread on that other site Seriously, you guys have fun at moab and try to limit the facial soil and rock samples. I have found that knobbies work best when in the vertical position in contact with terrafirma 8O
let.s not forget about the unfortunate ones who can't attend this year...........oh and you guys be careful.....don't wanna hear anyone getting hurt, other than the normal abuse from riding..
