Hey guys, new to the forum and new to Husabergs!

I'm Kurt Flachbart, editor/publisher of Trail Rider Magazine. Long time KTM owner, presently on my 30th, a 2020 150 XC-W TPI. I'm a 2 stroke guy but recently got offered a 2011 FE570 at a gift of a price and couldn't say no.

My go-to bikes have been KTM 300's of every generation. My experiences with 4 strokes have been many but just never warmed up to them. What's interesting is I've really taken to this odd duck, the 70 degree 570. It's so different (being an older rider @ 58) and I typically struggle with different, but I've got to admit I'm thoroughy impressed with this bike.

I've been doing a lot of research and recently found this forum. Got a few questions and I'm sure there will be many more!

Thanks, Kurt

Welcome. Check to see if fuel pump was replaced by last owner if not get a backup one. This is a great bike don't ride the FS570 you'll end up with one.

crank over the gearbox; Husaberg. you'll love it. if it had given more development it would have been even better.
