I'm actually thinking about buying a very low hour 08 FE550.
I'm concerned that when I search for parts, all I find is 2009 and up. Why is that? I'm looking for a street legal kit. I plan to turn it into an SM.
I also read I should be installing a "fan kit". Is there a part number for that and where does everyone order from?

The Futura would be my third bike this riding season alone. I've had a Ulysses, Falco, Super Chicken, GS, RT, FJR, and multiple sportbikes early on.
