Heavier Springs For A 2002 FE650e

I weigh 255 and need heavier springs on my FE650e. I called Slavens Racing and they only offer springs for 2004 up. Does anyone have any experience trying to use 2004 up springs on a 2002? The sales rep I spoke to gave me canned ID/OD answers but no specifics on if they can be made to work.

If anyone has heavier springs for a 2002 please let me know!

I will give them a call tomorrow. Looks like they have springs for 2001 Husabergs which should work on my 2002.

If they don't have anything, let me know. I have an 02 FE650 with springs for a 200+ rider installed on it. I will be swapping in the stock springs, once I get the bike ready to ride.

Within the next couple months, after I get the engine sorted out. Seems like the spring rate was on the shock spring.... I will check, and let you know, if you are interested. I definitely will not be needing them after I swap the stock springs back on and would sell for a lot less than new from Race Tech.

I've used Factory Connection for my heavier springs. They had springs for my 01 FC470e and I'm heavier than you!

i can do springs for it but you're best trying the USA first as at 6KG the post is about $40 from here.

but if you're stuck let me know. you also want heavier front springs as well if you can egt them. .054s at a guess but certainly .052s. I ran .050s and I'm 92kg.

the rear shock isn't too bad but the forks are ****.
