Heaps of Air in Rear Brake line

My mates ktm 300 is frustrating the knob out us ,it is the rear brake line and cylinder, I have bleed it with a pump about 10 times so far, it holds out for a ride or so then fails. When we pump the air out there is heaps and heaps of air in the line and the fluid drops very little in the slave cylinder. Thinking the seals gone on the slave cylinder. I did notice the 3-5 ml free-play on the brake was not good so I adjusted that to spec, could that have been letting the air in?

there's a chance that it needs either new pistons or seals or to be sure = both

Did you try replacing the copper washers on the banjo bolts at the ends of the brake lines?

I will investigate all the above pointers  , thanks guys  .
