Thanks very much Jon that will help with reassembly for sure !! all went well.. after much measuring and talking with Taff we have a new higher compression piston and other goodies on there way.. along with a super needle for my 550 Taff and i juiced her up last year goes like a bat out of hell now : ) Could you tell me if the 2009 450 /570 repair manual would apply to my 2010 390 ? or does anyone know where to get one for the 2010

thanks in advance

Stan

Yes, I got them all. Also FX and FS, -09 to -11 (-12s are identical to -11s except for lightly tweaked fuel and different plastics with yellow frame).

The manual for -10s is the same regardless of 390, 450 or 570. The only different chapters are for FX models and then the wiring diagrams differ for FX, FE EU, FE AUS and FE USA. But it's all in the same manual.

After comparing the -09 and the -10 manuals I can't see much that differ. The FX is added to the -10, there is also the fuel level indicator. The wiring diagrams are looking different in layout, but should be almost the same except for the addition of the fuel level indicator and the two added warning lights (low fuel and long beam).

It's too bad that all the manuals are in locked PDFs and that the CD is needed. I have taken screenshots of the -11 (-12) manual so I could do a printed version for me, so that one I do have in a "pirate" version ;)
