Has anyone tried a 1/4 turn throttle?

Hi all, I maybe alone on this one but I find the throttle a bit of a long twist. I have used 1/4 turn throttles before on my old RD350LC and RGV250 many years ago and found them much easier. They take a bit of getting used to, feels like a switch at first, but you can get the power on quicker. The standard husaberg unit seems to go on for ever.
Any input would be great,

Thanks Trevor.

Have a search of the forums - there have been some threads on this. I know my older bike with Domino controls has the option to flip over the cable drum inside the twistgrip to change the throttle response & give what you are after. Not sure if this is possible with the later bikes though.

it's in the doc under carburation. find it freaky and there is a link with it and if that doesn't work then put the product name in a search!

a 650 with a 1/4 turn throttle  sounds like a good idea :yikes:

Taffy, is it the throttle cam section in the owners doc?

Been for another blast tonight and 1/4 turn throttle is the future!!!

it's at the bottom of carburation under variable throttle cam. perhaps its not the same thing but maybe you'll still be interested!

the one taffy mentions in the doc is a g2 ergonomics variable throttle cam system.

i got one from BOSS and its a good piece of kit, the cams i got smooth things out for when its slick but you can get the cam to give you a 1/4 turn throttle.
