Has anybody looked into a Radix kit on the 2009/10 FEs?

http://www.2moto.com/

I am not even sure these guys are still out there. Their website seems pretty dead after March of this year and the only even on their calendar is a snow sports show next weekend in Seattle - no demo rides that I can see.

The problem is supposedly that the subframe, the plastic subframe, on the new FEs would maybe need to be modified to fit the kit. It is one thing when it is just an airbox, but modifying a subframe gives me pause.

Feedback?

HI

Check out www.brewserwest.com then call and talk to Corry, he has a number of 09s with the kits on. Not sure the exact story on how he makes it work but he knows what he is talking about.

Bump... I have an FE390... looking at a 2moto for cheap snow fun.. anyone>? That link doesn't work, and I can't get ahold of that guy

i've contacted the 2moto guys, they're setup doesn't work on our 70 degree bikes due to the rear pds suspension design.

I've been investigating snowbikes for my fe390 for the last 6 months and found that the 2moto was perfect for my snow conditions/etc... but sadly once I contacted them found it wasn't possible.

There are several other kits that would work though.

Timbersled ST kit (the 2015 kit looks to be amazing)
TKS is a newcomer but looks great as well
UFO - havn't seen alot on this one.

This is the best place for info: http://www.snowest.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=178

Snowest's snowbike forum. Very active and lots of great info! Just that the site requires you to register to view some threads it seems.

I have been reading up on snowbikes as I would love to have a setup like that. Be aware that it seems like the timbersled, due to its size can be a bit heavy for a 390.

I think that for next season I will try to get a 2moto radix to my 570 and just rebuild my old subframe as I normally have a subframe tank.

Im going to get the radix kit for my 390, and refab it to work. i'll let you know how it turns out.. the 2moto seems a perfect setup for the 390, as for reasons stated above.

Please share what you learn about rebuilding the subframe :)

Did you look at that frozenmoto? It looks very interesting and maybe it's compatible with 70 degrees, so I'm curious if you have any other reasons then that it's more expensive and less tested than 2moto?
