Hello, i have Husaberg FE 400 '03.
Since i bought it i had problems with ignition, first, the stator gone legs up so i bought a replacement Electrex. It worked excellent for 2 weeks and than fried my CDI, so i bought a replacement CDI from HPI Ignition which is in pair with the Electrex stator so stator might not fry the CDI this time. It works great now, i rode it only 2 times since i put new CDI because we have 1 meter of snow on the fields.
The only problem is that the bike is starting very poorly, also restarts are not much easier but sometimes it fires right up, my electric start is also broken so i must kick it. When i try to cold start it, i must kick it at least 10 times hard with choke on, than leave it for a minute and again kick it with choke but this time with a liiitle bit of open throttle and it might fire up. I tried everything, with throtle open, without throttle, with choke, without choke, everything. It really needs at least 25 kicks to start up when cold, when it is warmed up and i stall it, it takes 4-5 good kicks to get it going.
Now i don't know what is the problem, is it electrical or is it fuel. I didn't start my bike since September, than it started more or less fine, 2 kicks from cold and 1 to restart. I'm not sure if the cold weather has it's hands in my problem and my fuel mixture is not right because i never started the bike in winter.
I really hope it has nothing to do with ignition because i already spent 500€ on ignition problems and im sick of it.
