What would be the first things to check if the berg has trouble cold starting? The bike runs fine once started and starts right up off the e button once its ran for a minute.

The plug on the bike was black but not fouled. Maybe the bike is running a little rich.

The local shop just started carrying iridum plugs for my bike so I picked up a Denso IXU24. Spendy little plug.

Also does anyone know a brand of fully synthetic motorcycle oil in 5w50? I've only found 10W50.

Thanks

right now everything you want to know is in threads that have been answered in the last 12 hours fella so go have a look see. where are you from?
what's your altitude?
have you checked out our hard starting guide in the downloads section?
have you run a copy of the 'info sheet' that is in the hyperlink at the bottom of my post below?

good luck

Putoline make a 5-50w Offroad 4+ oil. It is available here in the UK for £37. Which makes it very expensive. I run mine on either Motorex 10-50w or the Putoline 5-50w which is better in the cold weather or for racing. I think the Putoline is 100% synthetic ester which makes it one of the best 2002 Berg oils available.
