Sorry for the stupid questions but I couldn't find the data anywhere

1.the magura SX on the 08 (i think that's the stock) are 1" right?

2.what would you recommend buying in order to rise the bars? I don't fell very comfortable standing on the bike and I was suggested to raise the bars. I'm 1.74 cm (5.7" I think). what size of raisers should I get and where can I find them so that they fit the handlebar

3.I want to buy a spare shifter lever in case mine brakes on the the trail. will one for a ktm from 03-09 fit? . i know this question is not tin the right section, but I didn't want to open a new thread for that.

thanks for your time

wow.. that was the fastest reply ever - thanks!!

too bad about the shifter.. I wanted to get me an after market one for a reasonable price...

at 5' 7" i would have thought standard was good. are you sure you have them tilted back enough and also do you have them in the nearest holes to you? max lift I should have thought was 1/2".

KTM bar-risers fit. They are available from a variety of places. Make sure that the bolts are long enough!

I actually don't  . how can I tilt them? just by changing the angle in which the bars are laid in the clamps?

Thank all of you guys for your help.

p.s

JohanH - I also have those levers, I'm now looking for something to replace the shifter lever, sorry if I wasn't clear about that.

Did you rotate the clamps? KTM clamps work on your bike. Taffy has a good shift lever in his ebay shop. The only shift lever issues I have had is it be push through the clutch cover.

thanks again guys. I'll try to move my handlebar backwards, I didn't thought it'll make such a big difference.

Any news about the shifter lever? Is there no affordable after market lever that can be bought and will fit?

thanks again for all the help.
