Our group gathered in the Little Naches valley for a weekend of camping and riding. This was the first "open" weekend for riding this area, and the weather could not have been any better!

Since it is still early in the season, many of the trails have yet to be cleared from winter blow downs. Three guys in the crew packed saws.

Fortunately once you get up higher out of the valley, there are fewer blow downs and smoother trails.

The weather and views were both spectacular this weekend!

Sexiest girls on the mountain!

The days pace was fairly quick. As we dropped back down into the warmer valley bottom I felt the rear of my bike squirming around as I was cruising through the woods. A rear flat, with an M5B and a Bridgestone Ultra Heavy tube? That would be a yes . . .

Several of the guys lend a hand, and the Godfather "supervised", standing in his signature stance that he does. . . .

Back to camp with a 21" tube stuffed in the rear 18" wheel.

A casual ride on Sunday was on my agenda.

On Sunday it worked out that my wife and I would go on a loop up Fifes Ridge trail. Just the two of us.

It has been a while since we had ridden with just the two of us, and I truly had a great time. She looks so smooth on her KTM, and has fully embraced the Rekluse clutch. I personally do not like them, but for certain people, Lindsey being one of them, they are magic!

Several sections have really good climbs. Steep, eroded and strewn with rocks.

Good views were everywhere!

Getting close to camp again, we stopped by the little water fall. I wanted to get right on the edge, to show just how tall this little falls is. As you can imagine, someone wasn't letting that happen . . .

So back to camp we went, just in time for lunch.

A great weekend with all of our friends! A good start to this riding season!!
