GPR Steering Stabilizer Installed

GPR www.gprstabilizers.com has one for our bikes. I just put one on my 04 Fe450e tonight! It looks trick, it raised the bars 3/4 of an inch. I'm a little nervous about the length of the hoses and cables, but there is still slack.

Its an under bar setup, and bolted right on.

I did have to grind down the top nut for the center bolt on the triple clamp for good clearance.

Total install time 1.5 hours, but I was not working fast...I spent 15hrs at work today.

I highly recommend using a longer bolt for the "post mount" clamp, as GPR's is a little short. A stock husaberg bolt approx 35 mm long is the right length (I'm guessing at 35...cause I'm tired) and will prevent stripping the post mount.

I will post a ride report as soon as possible.

Rich.

i was close to spending big bux on one , until recently when i did my steering head bearings , regreased and tightened correctly . then i dialed my suspension in , springs to suit my weight , revalved and went to work on the clickers . and now i don't need one :eep:

me and rick installed one on my 06 a couple of weeks ago, absolutly love it. made a big diff in the fast stuff. still getting used to it though.

a buddy in seatle intalled a steering stabalizer on his 03 KTM 250 for the sole reason of cuttin his bars down 3" inches(WOW). he did it to get throught the tight trees!?
