Picked up my 06 550 yesterday and i will be taking it on the trails tomorrow, spent last night looking at how it's put together....love it nothing there but the essentials and it looks like it all unzipps pretty simply and fast.....nice machine....now to try it out....... :D
 
Well took the berg out today and keep in mind my dirt rides up till now have been on a hp2 and various japanese 400's..........well firstly let me say i have never heard a more musical engine in any bike i have ridden, this thing whirrs, whistles and must have a family of crickets living in the engine. what a lovely bike to ride nice power delivery, easy to get used to. We rode fire trails and some rocky , sandy stuff, i had a great day and really enjoyed riding the berg........ :D
 
after about 12-15 hours on the motor your bike will devleop a hit down low. watch for it
